PENTICTON, B.C. — EllisDon Infrastructure recently announced it has reached substantial completion on the David E. Kampe Tower at Penticton Regional Hospital.
The new six-storey tower will provide ambulatory care, surgical services, 84 inpatient beds in single-patient rooms, space for the University of British Columbia’s faculty of medicine, a medical device reprocessing unit and a rooftop heliport.
EllisDon Infrastructure was awarded the contract by Interior Health in 2016 to design, build, partially finance and maintain the tower. The hospital is scheduled to open to the public in April.
