To celebrate International Women’s Day a group of tradeswomen have recorded a lip sync video to the song “Sisters are Doin’ It for Themselves.”
“Here’s to celebrating some of the badass women in our industry and inspiring future generations of strong women in trades! Electricians, plumbers, machine operators, tilers, welders, drywallers, HVAC techs, the list goes on and on,” the video’s YouTube description stated.
The video was directed by IBEW 309A construction and maintenance electrical apprentice Darci Spiteri and also features IBEW Local 105, 309A construction and maintenance electrical apprentice and KickAss Careers ambassador Shannon Tymosko as well as Andie Davidson, an electrical apprentice and host of the KickaAss careers podcast as well as several other tradeswomen.
