The Daily Commercial News and Journal of Commerce has compiled the results of our social media poll where we asked you, the reader, to cast your vote on major issues impacting construction.

Specifically, we asked the following question: COVID-19’s impact cannot be minimized. However, 2020 also saw other major issues impact construction’s landscape. Which one gets your vote?

  • Racism in construction: 42 per cent
  • Community Benefits Agreements: 30 per cent
  • Mass timber’s rise in construction: 15 per cent
  • Future of resource builds: 13 per cent

The above are aggregated results from the social media poll held Dec. 14 to Dec. 21 via both publication’s LinkedIn Groups and Twitter feeds.
