CALGARY, ALTA.—Credivera, a high-tech credentialling company based in Alberta, has partnered with biotechnology experts to ensure verified drug and alcohol test results.
Biotech company BTNX will integrate rapid testing technology with Credivera’s digital wallet to display drug, alcohol and COVID-19 antigen test results.
“The ability for our customers in high-compliance, regulated industries to add these verified health credentials to their digital Wallets, adds additional confidence and convenience when demonstrating fit for work capability,” said Credivera CEO Dan Giurescu in a statement. “Together with BTNX, we are helping make worksites safer and more efficient when deploying talent.”
BTNX’s products, distributed by Lochness Medical Supplies Inc. in the U.S., are used by clinics, staffing agencies, and laboratories across the globe. Credivera believes as companies seek to create drug and alcohol-free workplaces, BTNX’s products can assist rural and remote communities.
“In the digital age the merger of technology and diagnostics is fast becoming a necessity in the staffing and employment industry and the ability to rapidly connect test results with verified employee credentials will set industry leaders apart,” said Iqbal Sunderani, BTNX founder and CEO.
BTNX’s rapid drug and alcohol screen, or COVID-19 tests, have results in 15 minutes or less. The BTNX app then sends the results to the worker’s Credivera wallet to prove they meet their employer’s testing requirements. The company can immediately see who complies or needs to be replaced by another worker.
