The central branch of the Vancouver Public Library, located in the downtown core, is undergoing a $15-million renovation to its roof which will include revamping the top two floors of the building, adding 35,000-square-feet of library space and expanding an existing green roof.

Once work is complete in 2018, the green roof space will be open to the public.
