Recently Acton Ostry Architects celebrated its 25th anniversary with the publication of AOA25, a hardcover book marking many of the firm’s projects from the mass timber Brock Commons residential tower to the Sauder School of Business all the way back to their first projects, a school in Haida Gwai and a synagogue in Vancouver.

Founders Russell Acton and Mark Ostry spoke to the Journal of Commerce about the beginnings of the firm, their commitment to institutional buildings and highlighted some of their iconic projects.

Acton and Ostry also praised those who have made the quarter century journey with them and looked forward to the firm’s future.
