EDMONTON — Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) will be the lead tenant at HSBC Place in Edmonton’s downtown ICE District once the 317,000-square-foot office tower completes its redevelopment in 2019.
The project is aiming for LEED and WELL Gold certification and will be the first commercial property in Edmonton to also pursue Wired certification, a rating system that measures digital infrastructure.
The building will include a triple-glazed curtainwall system, new mechanical and electrical systems and a revitalized two-storey lobby along with floor-to-ceiling glass in office areas.
