Crews are working on phase two of the University Crescent Pavement Renewals Project in Winnipeg. University Crescent links the University of Manitoba to Pembina Highway through a residential area. The construction is happening in three phases with the first completed in 2021 and the second started in 2022. The project involves pavement reconstruction and resurfacing and the addition of an active transportation facility. The City of Winnipeg is paying for the project with total budget of $9.9 million forecast over five years. Professional consulting services were provided by AECOM and Bituminex Paving is completing the work on phase two.
