Underground utility safety information source Planet Underground and The Utility Expo are combining forces to bring a roundtable event every other year to the Kentucky Exhibition Center.
The Utility Expo’s “Roundtable Live!” event will be at the Expo as “The Jobsite, presented by Planet Underground.”
“The Jobsite will be an amazing opportunity for contractors to learn the latest about equipment and technology from the people they can trust most…their peers. We’re looking forward to working with Planet Underground to bring this exciting new feature to The Utility Expo,” Utility Show director John Rozum said.
The Utility Expo is a biennial trade show taking place in Louisville, KY and the next event is planned for Sept. 28-30, 2021.
Roundtable Live! has drawn hundreds of visitors to Manteno, Ill. South of Chicago for the past three years, a Utility Expo release stated, with demonstrations ranging from potholing underground facilities to installation of utility lines.
“Planet Underground is proud to partner with The Utility Expo and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers. We look forward to constructing a jobsite and networking area in 2021 that allows industry professionals to learn from their peers in a familiar and relaxed setting,” Planet Underground CEO Mike Parilac said.
Planning is already underway for The Jobsite at The Utility Expo with demonstrations covering topics including utility locating, vacuum excavation, directional drilling, sewer inspections, trench safety, and safety best practices.
