Klean partners with U.S. company to build green hydrogen products

VANCOUVER — Klean Industries Inc., a Vancouver-based manufacturer, has partnered with H2 Core Systems to build international green hydrogen projects.

Klean is a manufacturing company that focuses on the recovery of clean energy and resources from waste, according to a press release.

The two companies will also be working with Enapter AG, a German company who specializes in building and designing electrolyzers.

Electrolyzers use electricity to produce clean hydrogen and oxygen from water.

Klean is working with H2 to design and install a 40’ electrolyzer at its flagship facility in Oregon, the release reads. The companies will also be focusing on non-internal hydrogen production.

“H2 Core and Klean see increasing market demand for green hydrogen produced by electrolysis,” reads the release.

“They aim to unlock hydrogen’s true potential in reducing pollution and climate change by building hydrogen supply solutions and station networks to support the rollout of fuel-cell electric vehicles and decentralized renewable energy plants.”

“We believe Enapter’s mass-produced AEM Electrolysers will enable low-cost green hydrogen to be deployed at a massive scale in the shortest amount of time,” said Enapter’s Chief Executive Officer Sebastian-Justus Schmidt in the release.
