Tender Description
Site work, paving and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Canmore, Alberta.
Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

The main items of Work of this Contract, at two Day Use Areas, includes the following:
1. Tree removal, clearing and grubbing, removal and disposal of existing toilet facilities.
2. Grading pathways and picnic sites to subgrade elevations, including blading and compacting of in situ material as required.
3. Asphalt parking, pathway, and picnic pad construction; crushed limestone pathway and picnic pad construction; placement of limestone boulders.
4. Supply and installation of site furnishings including picnic tables, benches, and recycle / waste bins.
5. Supply and installation of signage and pavement markings.
6. Construction of four seat double vault toilet building and a two-seat vault toilet building.
7. Site grading, including installation of retaining walls. Placing of topsoil and seeding.
As a precondition to contract award, the Prime contractor must provide a valid standard Certificate of Recognition (COR), Small Employers Certificate of Recognition (SECOR) or a valid Temporary Letter of Certification (TLC) for a standard COR, as issued by the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) or another certifying partner authorized by the Alberta Ministry of Labour to issue CORs, and TLCs.
