Tender Description

Renovation of a conference / convention center in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.

To install owner supplied luminaires at the Vancouver Convention Centre – West Building (the “Project”).

The Project is split into three (3) phases:

1. Phase 1 – Pre-function Area – Installation of approximately 372 ceiling mounted cylinder luminaires, and 11 – 347V to 120V stepdown transformers;

2. Phase 2 – Pre-function Area – Installation of approximately 340 ceiling mounted interior floodlight luminaries on the first level of the area of work. Note that the luminaires will be of two (2) different distribution patterns (170 of each distribution patter) and directions will be provided as to orientation and positioning. This fact will not impact time to install or overall installation effort; and

3. Phase 3 – Event Halls ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’ – Installation of approximately 721 suspended highbay luminaires, glare shields, and control cables. Installation of these systems is anticipated to require provision of mounting channel for approximately 541 luminaires.
