Renovation of a water / sewer project in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
– The Contractor shall supply, install and test all wiring and equipment necessary to properly and fully complete the operating systems as specified herein and as shown on drawings, unless otherwise indicated. All materials, labour, tools and appliances necessary for this work shall be furnished by the Contractor.
– Any minor or incidental item of the Work not called for in the Specifications or shown on the Drawings, but clearly required to meet the intent of the design and normally provided for the proper operation of the Work, shall be provided as if specifically called for in the Contract Documents.
– The Electrical work shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
– Supply and installation of new manual transfer switch to provide standby feeder for the existing Power Distribution Centre (PDC1).
– Supply and installation of new Genset Connection Enclosure to be installed adjacent the new manual transfer switch.
– Modification of genset load bank circuit breaker wiring interlock (CB900).
– Modification of existing cable bus to run through the new manual transfer switch.
– Supply and installation of new cable bus or approved equal from the manual transfer switch to PDC1.
– Reconfigure the existing CB900 LSIG settings. Settings will be provided to the Contractor.
– Supply 120 m each standby portable power cable, complete with CamLok connectors and cable reels for storage.
– Three (3) sets of portable power cables terminated to black male and female Camlok connectors at each end.
– Three (3) sets of portable power cables terminated to blue male and female Camlok connectors at each end.
– Three (3) sets of portable power cables terminated to red male and female Camlok connectors at each end.
– One (1) set of portable power cables terminated to white male and female Camlok connectors at each end.
– One (1) set of portable power cables terminated to green male and female Camlok connectors at each end.
-Provide minimum two (2) sturdy wooden cable reels to allow for safe and damage free of cable storage and installation.
– Demonstrate the operation and connections of the standby portable power cable and manual transfer switch during startup, testing and commissioning.
– Develop operation & maintenance manual. The O&M manual shall include, but not limited to, a cable preservation and storage plan, for when not in use and a safe work procedure for standby power cables.
– Supply appropriate storage container for storage of cables and ancillary equipment when not in use. Supply all tools and equipment required for safe removal, handling and storage of cables when not in use.
