Drainage and Site Upgrade

will be received by the undersigned, no later than 14:00:00 (2:00:00 pm) local time, Tuesday April 17, 2018.

Bids are solicited for drainage and site upgrades at Peace Arch Elementary School located at 15877 Roper Ave White Rock, BC. The scope of work generally includes; building perimeter drainage replacement.

Bid Documents will be available to General Contractors after March 22, 2018 at the offices of Omega & Associates Engineering Ltd., 217 – 18525 53 Ave, Surrey, BC. A maximum of 3 sets of documents for the project will be issued to each General Contractor upon receipt of $100 per set, made payable to Omega & Associates Engineering Ltd. Deposits are refundable on return of documents in good and complete condition received no later than May 31, 2018. Bid documents will also be lodged at the Vancouver and Abbotsford offices of the Vancouver Regional Construction Association.

A Mandatory Site Visit will be held at the main entrance at Peace Arch Elementary School on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at 1:30 pm. During this site visit all Contractors are required to confirm existing site and building(s) conditions. Allow one hours for the site visit. Bids will not be accepted from General Contractors who do not attend the entire scheduled mandatory site visit.

Each bid must be accompanied by a duly executed Bid Bond in the amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the bid and Consent of Surety by the surety company providing the 50% Labour and Material Bond and 50% Performance Bond of the bid price.

The lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted. School District No. 36 (Surrey) reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
