Integrated Infrastructure Services Duggan Bridge (B072) Minor Repairs

Tender Description

Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
1. The Work to be undertaken under the Contract involves: Duggan Bridge (B072) at Saskatchewan Drive over Fort Hill Road – Repair Program. The major work activities for the project are listed below:
– Mobilization and demobilization, establishment of traffic control, establishment of structure access, general site management, environmental management, temporary fencing and security and protection of existing utilities;
– Repair of deck cracks, application of deck sealer
– Removal and patching of substructure delaminations;
– Repair of girder cracks (epoxy injection);
– Grout shimming of girders near bearing locations (install grout between steel brackets and underside of girders. Construction Quantities for the work are estimated as: – 55 lineal metres deck crack repairs on roadway and sidewalk; – 920 m 2 deck sealing including deck, sidewalks and barriers; – 10 m 2 removal of substructure delaminations; – 10 m 2 patching of substructure delaminations; – 10 m girder crack repair; – 8 locations girder shimming; – Above quantities will be field confirmed by the Consultant;
