Tender Description

Site work for a road / highway in Fort Vermilion, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The Work consists of repairing holes of up to 0.5 square metres in area and up to 200 millimetres in depth by cleaning the hole of loose material, supplying and applying tack coat to the hole and the surrounding area to 0.15m outside of the broken area, filling the hole with a hot mix asphalt concrete pavement Mix Type S1, and compacting the mix to provide a smooth, hard surface and a smooth transition to the surrounding pavement.

Mackenzie County will supply the chip seal aggregate. The material will be available from the Anderson Pit located at River Lot 9-108-13-W5M. The Contractor will still be fully responsible for mix design and warranty requirements. In the event of warranty repairs the contractor will be responsible for crushing and producing the aggregate. Aggregate will be available by June 30, 2018.
