Newcastle Island Provincial Park – Residence Repairs

Tender Description

Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

The proposed contract requires the contractor to complete exterior repairs and upgrades to the residence on Newcastle Island Marine Park. Works includes replacement of the wood shingle roof with asphalt shingles, supply and install new eaves troughs and downspouts, repairs to chimney, new posts and handrails on front porch, insulation of attic and exterior walls, and repairs to exterior wood siding and painting. The park is marine access only and the contractor is responsible for all transportation of staff, tools, material and equipment, and for removal of all waste and construction debris at the conclusion of the project.
