Tender Description
Site work and paving for a civil project in Victoria, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work is located at the Tsawout First Nation East Saanich 2 Reserve along Mt. Newton Cross Road and Sasu Roads. The work of this contract generally comprises of erosion protection of 1200 m section of the shoreline and includes:
Spot riprap repair;
New riprap at toe of slope;
200 m long, 6 m deep steel sheet pile wall along a critical section of foreshore;
Vegetated geogrid bioengineered plantings above sheet pile installation
Installation of culvert headwalls and concrete stairs
Pavement milling, subbase repair and repaving of road adjacent to the sheet pile area.
