The Construction Record Podcast – Episode 6

This week on The Construction Record podcast, digital media editor Warren Frey is solo and fills us in on his recent reporting from the Royal Canadian Institute of Architectures’ Festival of Architecture, held in Ottawa. Staff writer Russell Hixson is on his way back from Newfoundland, where he was reporting on Canadian Construction Association board meetings, and he’ll have an update for us next episode.

National Editor Vince Versace and Daily Commercial News staff writer Angela Gismondi sum up what they’ve been doing over the past couple of weeks, and Angela also has an interview with Canadian Women in Construction (CAWIC) president Tammy Evans. We also have an interview with Toronto engineer Mike Moffatt by staff writer Don Wall, who attended the recent Lean construction conference in Toronto.

Warren also has an interview with James Hayes, a partner with If Then Architecture who is using digital technology for fabrication intended for the current renovation of Canada’s Parliament buildings. Vince also has a look at the top ten projects.
