The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP) recently held its annual P3 2020 conference and due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic it took virtual form for the first time in the conference’s history, with three days of main stage and breakout sessions and speakers and panelists from across the globe.

Daily Commercial News staff writers Angela Gismondi and Don Wall, Journal of Commerce staff writer Russell Hixson and digital media editor Warren Frey all covered the conference and give their thoughts on the podcast about the new virtual format and the emerging trends with public-private partnerships they saw discussed at the conference.

Don Wall also interviewed CCPPP president and CEO Mark Romoff in a wide-ranging discussion about the conference, COVID-19 and the changing P3 landscape on a global, national and provincial level and Warren Frey interviewed Metrolinx vice president of development and heavy rail (new stations) Meghan Wong about transit plans in the Toronto are and her participation with other rail infrastructure experts at a conference panel.
