TORONTO — A man in his 30s has been pronounced dead following an industrial incident early this morning near Queens Quay West and Rees Street in Toronto.
According to police, the incident occurred at 1:53 a.m. Initially the worker was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but he later died.
The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development is reporting it was notified of an incident involving a Toronto Hydro worker who came into contact with live wires, resulting in fatal injuries.
Ministry inspectors have been assigned to the scene and are currently onsite.
