Work continues on a new pedestrian walkway at Vancouver’s busy Commercial-Broadway Skytrain station.
The steel structure will support the walkway, which will connect to the Millennium Line platforms and the westbound 99 B-Line bus stop. VIA Architecture is a consultant on the project, with AECOM acting as civil engineer and Smith Bros & Wilson (BC) Ltd. as general contractor. Geotechnical consultation is by exp Services Inc. Further plans include new elevators, escalators and a new east platform for westbound Expo Line trains.
