The former home of Safeway on the intersection of Davie and Cardero Streets in Vancouver’s West End is making way for two residential towers, one rising to 21 storeys and the other to 22 storeys.
Westbank is the developer of the project, with ICON Pacific/ICON West as the general contractor.
Henriquez Partners Architects designed the two structures.
A new grocery store and other retail will occupy the lower and upper ground level. Construction is slated to begin in early 2018 and wrap up at the beginning of 2019.
