Metro Vancouver, through Greater Vancouver Water District (the Corporation) invites Responses to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Construction of Water Optimization Automation & Instrumentation Project. More specifically, the intent of this RFQ is to short-list up to (3), three number of Respondents to participate in a Tender or Request for Proposal for Construction of Water Optimization Automation & Instrumentation Project.

Seven (7) project locations are identified to have devices and meters to monitor flows and pressures installed including construction of underground chambers, mechanical installation of fans, sump pumps, flow and pressure meters as well as installation of required electrical services as part of this RFQ.

While it is anticipated that this RFQ may lead to a Tender or Request for Proposal, Metro Vancouver reserves the unfettered right to determine the next steps in the process which may include negotiation with the front-runner(s), issuing a Tender or Request for Proposal to short-listed Respondents only, issuing a Tender or Request for Proposal to more than the intended number of short-listed Respondents, collapsing this process entirely or pursuing a different selection process altogether.

All inquiries regarding the Submissions will be referred to that site. Only the short-listed Respondents will be contacted at the conclusion of the process. Unsuccessful respondents wishing to be debriefed are encouraged to contact the Buyer of record within 30 days of the website posting. As only the successful Respondents will be contacted at the conclusion of this RFQ, Metro Vancouver wishes to thank all Respondents for their effort in responding to this bidding opportunity.
