Tender Description
Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Airdrie, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The final design, the SSLS will take over the 350mm steel line (formerly) used by the MLS small pumps. In order to realize this, the 350mm steel line that runs between the MLS and the SSLS tie-in point will be abandoned. With this line abandoned, the two 1978 pumps in the MLS become irrelevant and are to be removed. In their place, as a way to improve pumping redundancy in this station, a third 250hp pump will be installed to serve as a standby pump. The electrical distribution and emergency power modernization carried out at MLS in 2017 was sized for three pumps at 250hp.
