Calgary construction worker dies after fall from heights

A construction worker in Calgary has died after falling from the seventh floor of a building.

According to the Calgary Police Service (CPS), officers were called to the 7700 block of Macleod Trail S.W. at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Saturday after it was reported that a worker had fallen from the seventh floor of the building. Police say the man was declared dead at the scene.

“As the death is not deemed criminal in nature, we are unable to release any further details, including what type of work was being conducted,” said a CPS spokesperson.
