Ramcor Construction is starting work on a permanent covered stage in Jean-Brillant Park in the borough of Cote-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grace, Montreal. The stage is part of a $900,000 series of revitalization projects for the park.
The City of Montreal held a groundbreaking Monday at Jean-Brillant Park in the borough of Cote-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grace, signaling the start of construction work on a permanent, covered stage.
Construction work will be carried out by Ramcor Construction. The building of the stage is part of a $900,000 series of revitalization projects for the park. The city has already laid grass over a former baseball diamond and removed fences.
The stage will be built across from the pavilion of the park. Next year the city plans to restructure the park's entrance, located at the corner of the Rue Jean-Brillant and Avenue Gatineau.
