MHCA sets series of meetings to discuss highway capital spending with the province

WINNIPEG — The Manitoba Heavy Construction Association (MHCA) has set up a series of meetings to discuss the highway capital program with the Government of Manitoba.

A total of three meetings with senior offices of Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure have been organized to go over the delivery of the highways capital program which includes under-expenditures, bid validity periods, quarry lease permits and the tender ad schedule, states the MHCA in its newsletter.

“Numerous projects listed in the tender advertising schedules have missed their ad date and some have been pulled entirely from subsequent iterations of the schedule,” writes the MHCA.
