B.C. asks for public input on 2024 budget

VICTORIA, B.C. – The Government of British Columbia is turning to the public for ideas on what to prioritize in the 2024 budget.

The consultation is an annual process helmed by the all-party Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Editor and is held province-wide with a final report with recommendations on the budget given to the legislative assembly.

“As we plan for the future, we will continue to make choices that work for people. We’re focused on what matters to people across our province. Our annual budget consultation helps us hear from them and make sure our budget reflects their priorities, so we can help everyone build a good life in British Columbia,” provincial Minister of Finance Katrine Conroy said in a statement.
