Align will be an 18-storey, 397-unit residential mixed-use building located across from the University of Manitoba to provide affordable student housing. It is the second phase of a two-phase project. Toronto-based Campus Suites is developing the project with Winnipeg based Bockstael Construction Ltd. as the general contractor. This new building is next to phase one, also a student residence called The Arc. Align is expected to be move-in ready in time for the 2024 school year. The project was designed by Architects + Research + Knowledge Inc. (Ark Inc.) and consultants are Read Jones Christoffersen-Calgary (structural steel) and Epp Siepman Engineering Inc. (mechanical/electrical).
