At a sprawling six-acre property behind the B.C. Legislative Buildings in Victoria, the mixed use Capital Park is rising. Developers are Jawl Properties and Concert Properties. Contractor is Campbell Construction.
Work on the multi-phase project started in late summer. Phase One includes a five-storey, 117,000-square-foot office building with ground floor commercial space and a four-storey, residential structure. Once complete, Capital Park is forecast to have 235,000 square feet of office space in two buildings, 17,500 square feet of street-level retail and roughly 175 units of rental and condo housing within four buildings.
