RICHMOND, B.C. – The Peak Group of companies, which supplies more than 2,000 Home Deport stores across North America with renovation products, has announced Jeff Kinnaird will be its new president and CEO effective Oct. 1.
Previously Kinnaird was the executive vie-president of merchandising for Home Depot and president of Home Depot Canada.
Kinnaird will work with Peak founder John Gross who will become executive chair.
“As an exclusive supplier to The Home Depot, we’ve worked with Jeff for many years and are delighted to welcome him as our new president and CEO. His proven leadership and track record for success, as well as his extensive retail experience will allow Jeff to drive the growth of Peak, further grow our relationship with The Home Depot, and expand to meet the needs of professional and DIY customers,” Gross said.
Peak began as a Vancouver start-up in 1998 and has expanded over 25 years to supplying more than 1,000 renovation and outdoor living products to Home Depot stores in North America as well as Bunnings in Australia and New Zealand, a Peak Group release said.
“After 27 incredible years at The Home Depot, it was time to hang up my orange apron and return to Canada.
