BALZAC, ALTA. — GWL Realty Advisors (GWLRA) has announced it will be taking on the development of a design-build industrial Princess Auto Ltd. warehouse project at Stoney North Logistics Centre in Balzac, Alta.
Upon completion, the Stoney North Logistic Centre, co-developed by GWLRA and Enright Capital Ltd., will offer have over two million square feet of tier one industrial warehouse space across 118 acres.
The first building will comprise a 605,000-square-foot warehouse, developed for Princess Auto Ltd., a Canadian retail chain specializing in farm, industrial, garage, hydraulics and surplus items, states a release.
The facility will include feature a 40-foot ceiling height, loading doors and trailer storage.
According to the release, Balzac serves as a primary distribution hub for Western Canada. The Stoney North Logistics Centre is located just north of the City of Calgary, with access to Stoney Trail (Calgary’s ring highway) and Deerfoot Trail (Highway 2).
