BURNABY, B.C. — Oh, the homes you’ll see!
And the awards that were won!
The Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia (CHBA BC) recently celebrated the best in residential construction during the 33rd Annual Georgie Awards, which was set against a Dr. Seuss-inspired backdrop at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver.
The gala recognized excellence in homebuilding, renovation and design across the province.
This year’s awards featured 53 categories across six areas: residential construction – new; residential construction – renovation; interior design, merchandising and landscaping; sales and marketing; special achievement awards; and the prestigious grand Georgie awards.
“The 2025 Georgie Awards winners continue to set a new benchmark for homebuilding excellence in our industry,” said Neil Moody, CEO of CHBA BC, in a statement. “Despite economic and regulatory challenges, these builders, renovators, and designers have demonstrated resilience and ingenuity, delivering projects that elevate B.C.’s residential landscape. Their achievements highlight CHBA BC members’ commitment to quality and innovation, which defines our industry.”
Winners were selected by an independent panel of industry professionals from outside of B.C.
The Georgie Awards are open exclusively to members of CHBA BC’s eight affiliated homebuilding associations throughout the province, with all winning projects built, renovated, developed, created and marketed between Jan. 1, 2023, and Oct. 31, 2024.
