Waterloo Landfill Pumping Station No. 3 (PS3) Replacement

Scope

Site work for a water / sewer project in Waterloo, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project. The Waterloo Landfill Pumping Station No.3 (PS3) Replacement tender to construct the new Leachate PS3 including but not limited to the following: general site work including earthworks, grading and reconstruction of access road; installation of below-grade valve chamber, inlet chamber, and storage tank/wet well; all equipment and piping in the new valve chamber, inlet chamber, storage tank/wet well, control building, and below grade between the structures; new above-grade control building; new influent leachate pipes from existing PS1 and PS2 HDPE forcemain tie-in locations; new discharge piping from new valve room, including connection to the existing HDPE discharge force main; new electrical system; new HVAC system in control building; new control panels and communication equipment to suit new instruments and controls; replacement of two existing air release chambers (ARCs) along the existing HDPE discharge force main; testing, start-up and commissioning and training of new PS3; removal of all equipment in the existing PS3 and demolition and removal of existing PS3 structures; and grading and restoration of all affected areas; and associated work.
