Scope
New construction of a mixed-use development in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 202,363-square-foot, four-story above grade, 1,700-seat educational facility; and 69-seat day care center. Design/build construction of a replacement school with a capacity to accommodate up to 1700 students from grades 8 - 12. In addition, there will be a 69-space childcare centre to be built to LEED Gold Standards. TIMELINE: Construction began spring 2021. Awarded trades are not being released for publication. Completion is targeted to welcome students in fall 2023. *The Government of B.C. is funding 94.1 million of the 105.9 million required to replace the school.
