Scope
Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Unionville, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 445,755-square-foot, 10-story above grade, two-story below grade educational facility. Construction of a new York University campus to serve an estimated 4,000 students from York Region; with the potential to accommodate up to 10,000 students in future phases. The campus will offer a range of business, arts and social science-related programs in both undergraduate and graduate streams and will also have a partnership with Seneca College to offer students several joint academic programs. The campus will be developed on approx. 5 acres of land contributed by the City of Markham, north of Highway 407 near the corner of Enterprise Blvd., Rivis Road and the Markham Pan Am Centre.
