Brant Community Healthcare System - Emergency Department Redevelopment Project 1

Scope

Demolition and renovation of a medical facility in Brantford, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; and for the demolition of a medical facility. Brant Community Healthcare System has requested tender submissions for the Emergency Department Redevelopment Phase 1 Project at 200 Terrace Hill St., Brantford, Ontario. Renovations will be required to an existing operational healthcare facility within multiple floors of the A, B, C and D Wings of the hospital. Construction phasing will be required to maintain the ongoing operations of the hospital. Infection Control measures during construction will also be required as per CAN/CSA-Z317.13-07 (Infection Control During Construction, Renovation, and Maintenance of Health Care Facilities). This work is comprised of approximately 16,000 sq ft consisting of light, medium and heavy renovation work in both but not limited to administrative and clinical care areas. This renovation is the first and integral step towards the Brant Community Healthcare System master redevelopment. This work is targeted to begin in the spring / summer of 2023. *Awarded project value is undisclosed.
