Construction of Sanitary Sewer on Joymar Drive and Britannia Road West, Assignment A, Phase 3A

Scope

Site work for a water / sewer project in Mississauga, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project. Construction of Sanitary Sewer on Joymar Drive and Britannia Road West by Microtunneling. The Project is anticipated to involve the installation of approximately 1.1km of 1500mm sanitary sewer along Joymar Drive, between Britannia Road West and Tannery Street, and on Britannia Road West, between Millcreek Drive and Pioneer Drive, in the City of Mississauga. The proposed sanitary sewer is to be constructed by microtunneling at an average depth of 7 to 12 meters below grade, which will be generally within shale bedrock. The sewer pipe shall be reinforced concrete (non-cylinder) pressure pipe C302 (AWWA C302) or reinforced concrete cylinder pipe with a microtunnel joint C300MWM (AWWA C300) and shall be directly installed by microtunneling (without a casing pipe.)
