Scope

Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Walkerton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project. Sealed tenders clearly marked as to its contents and addressed to the Clerk's Department, Attention: Gregory Furtney, Director of Operations, Municipality of Brockton, 100 Scott Street, Box 68, Walkerton, ON N0G 2V0, will be received until: 11:59:00 a.m. (local time), Tuesday, May 4, 2021 The work includes retrofitting an existing contact tank to an ultraviolet disinfection system at the Walkerton Wastewater Treatment Plant. The general scope includes: -Modification of existing chlorination tank to provide UV equipment channels. -Installation of pre-purchased UV equipment, including controls -Construct a roof structure over the UV channels. -All associated mechanical, electrical and site work. as well as other work incidental thereto. Plans, specifications and tender forms may be obtained, starting April 12, 2021, from the office of the undersigned upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $50.00, payable to B. M. Ross and Associates, which includes all taxes. As a result of COVID-19, and related restrictions, alternative tender closing arrangements may be necessary - tenderers will be advised closer to closing date should the submission requirements need to be adjusted.
