Milverton Public School Reroofing of Roof D

Scope

Renovation of an educational facility in Milverton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility. The project scope consists of the re-roofing of Roof Area D (+/- 9711 SF). Including the removal and disposal of the existing roof system and the installation of a 2-Ply Modified Bitumen Asphalt-Free roof system, complete with raised mechanical units and parapets to accommodate added insulation. Additionally, a new ladder is to be installed. Roofing contractors shall be a qualified installer under the Soprema P.A.Q.+S warranty system. Proof of qualification will be required before tender prices are opened. Bid Bonds are required to accompany the tender in the amounts of $58,000.00 (Fifty-Eight Thousand Dollars) Successful bidder will be required to provide 50% Performance Bond and 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond. Access to the school will be available on this day only. Contractors wishing to inspect the above noted roof are asked to check in at the office upon arrival.
