Scope
Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for the construction of a transportation facility. This Prequalification is the first phase in a three-phase Project Procurement Process. The outcome of this Prequalification is limited to identifying Respondents, each composed of qualified Team Members, and shortlisting up to three such Respondents for participation in the Request for Proposals (RFP). Each Proponent is expected to have the following characteristics: (a) capacity to support detailed design by providing technical input and constructability reviews; (b) capacity to execute the procurement and construction of the Project; (c) demonstrated pre-construction experience providing value added constructability review and innovation during detail design; (d) demonstrated construction management experience including specialty trades involved in light rail transit systems; and (e) experience managing the system integration, commissioning and start-up of light rail transit systems and related operating systems.
