Pictured here is the Audain museum in Whistler, B.C. Four members of the Audain Art Museum construction team received silver awards of excellence from the Vancouver Regional Construction Association in 2016. The challenging structure, which sits on piers and is built over a flood plain, features a bridge and entrance. The building’s exterior design required crews to work to an exacting standard as ribbing, placed 16-inches apart, had to be matched on cladding, soffits and roof to complete its linear look.
