REGINA — The Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association (SCSA) recently announced the winners of the 2024 SCSA Awards, which recognize and celebrate companies and individuals in the building construction industry for their commitment to pursuing safety excellence.
All three of this year’s winners represent Saskatoon-based companies:
- Corporate Leadership in Safety- CandorBuild Construction Corp.
- Safety Leader – Lance Peters, Breck Construction
- Safety Practitioner – Chris Paposi, Ram Steel
Winners are evaluated on their safety practices, achievements in leadership and their efforts toward fulfilling the SCSA’s mission of promoting safety within the construction environment, explains a release.
“As the longtime safety partner of the Saskatchewan construction industry, we are pleased to highlight the achievements of our members and provide examples of safety leadership for others. We extend our deepest appreciation to the companies and individuals who help us deliver our mission, promoting safety on their sites and beyond,” said SCSA president Collin Pullar in a statement.
“We remain committed to supporting our members in preventing injuries through safety training, trusted advice and programs like COR®. These winners prove that this work is valuable and safety excellence is possible.”
The SCSA is a non-profit organization funded by the construction industry to provide safety training, programs and advice. The SCSA serves companies that employ workers in building construction and are registered with the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board for residential, commercial and industrial construction or construction trades.
