Ancestral human remains discovered on Saanich construction site

Saanich, B.C. police announced ancestral human remains were discovered at a construction site at the 5100 block of Cordova Bay Road. The area is known to be active with First Nations remains, a Saanich Police release stated, and representatives of the Tsawout and Songhees Nations are present onsite as part of the construction process. Continuation of the excavation will be conducted by the First Nations representatives onsite.

CMHC to release housing insights report

will release its Housing Market Insight – Home sales and prices in major markets during the COVID-19 Pandemic tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. ET. The report examines trends in existing home sales and prices during the COVID-19 pandemic in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal in 2020.

Stuhini signs deal with Natrinova Capital

Stuhini Exploration Ltd. yesterday announced it has entered into an investor relations contract with Natrinova Capital Inc. Stuhini is a mineral exploration company focused on two road-accessible projects, its Ruby Creek Property located in northwestern British Columbia, 20 kilometres east of the town of Atlin, and the Que Project located in southcentral Yukon 70 kilometres north of Johnson’s Crossing.
