Lafarge Canada leads virtual workshop on circular economy
Lafarge Canada is holding a virtual workshop on May 27 on Accelerating the Circular Built Environment exploring industry action as it relates to the circular economy. The circular economy is defined as a systemic approach to economic development designed to benefit businesses, society and the environment. Lafarge Canada vice-president and general manager of aggregates Peter Sanguineti will lead the discussion. Registration is now closed but recordings will be available.
Ceres Global Ag to build US$350 million canola crush facility
Ceres Global Ag has announced plans to build an integrated canola crush facility worth US$350 million at Northgate in southeastern Saskatchewan. The 1.1 million metric tonne canola processing plant is expected to begin construction in 2022 and will have a direct connection to the BNSF Railway adjacent to the United States border.
