Survey says corporate and public real estate owners over budget on projects
Most construction projects are delivered late and significantly over budget compared to the owners’ original plan, a new survey from Procore Technologies Inc. finds. Conducted by international research firm IDC in May and June and commissioned by Procore, the survey, released today, revealed 75 per cent of owners were over planned budgets on their projects and 77 per cent were late. On average, projects were 70 days late compared to their original estimates. The Daily Commercial News will have more on the story.

Dublin-based Trane Technologies and Nexii Building Solutions are collaborating with Trane acting as the exclusive North America heating, ventilation and air-conditioning supplier for sustainable buildings designed by Nexii using their proprietary Nexiite material which minimizes embodied carbon, construction waste, and energy use.
Precision NanoSystems expands Vancouver HQ
Precision NanoSystems Inc. announced the expansion of its Vancouver, B.C. headquarters. The 75,000-square-foot facility is currently under construction with completion scheduled for Q4 2022. The new genetic medicine GMP Biomanufacturing Centre was partially funded by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada‘s Strategic Innovation Fund (SIF).
