Construction is progressing on Highway 498 between Highway 2A and Highway 2 in southern Alberta.
Crews are raising the road level to match the elevation of Fifth Avenue, which intersects it. The lowest point of the road is going to be raised 3.5 metres.
The project’s budget is $9 million and is expected to be completed by May 15.
LaFarge Canada Inc. is the contractor, KLS is a subcontractor.
