CALGARY – The City of Calgary’s $2 billion Green Line extension is entering the final stages for determining the development partner.
According to a news release from the city, the Green Line Board has chosen a proponent team and is currently in final negotiations.
The successful proponent will be announced after the deal is finalized.
The two proponents were Bow Transit Connectors and City Link Partners. They were evaluated against technical and financial requirements and scoring from the Collaborative Behavioural Assessment, overseen by a fairness monitor.
The project is on schedule to begin the development phase in Q2 2023.
