CIRP, BC Build Together release mental health survey for women in construction

VANCOUVER – The Construction Industry Rehabilitation Plan (CIRP) and BC Build Together have released a new confidential survey to gauge the mental health needs of women in the province’s construction industry.

The survey has been released to “help us better understand your challenges and needs” according to the  description and contains 15 questions concerning recognition, mental health support awareness and conditions women face on worksites.

A QR code linked to the BuildStrong mental health app is also included in the survey.

CIRP is a B.C.-based non-profit, joint union/management sponsored alcohol and drug treatment program providing mental health and substance use services to the B.C. and Yukon Territory construction sectors and BC Build Together is a BC Building Trades initiative advocating for women in the skilled trades.
